Rakino dining chair by Tim Rundle for Morgan
Dezeen Showroom:Â the harmony between crisp machining and smooth hand-finishing is celebrated in the Rakino dining chair, created by designer Tim Rundle for British brand Morgan.
Described by Morgan as having "an upright, somewhat architectural, attitude", the Rakino dining chair features a strong, linear frame with only a softly bowed back support rail breaking up the composition of right angles.
The Rakino dining chair combines a wood frame and a soft upholstered seat
The detailing in the chair highlights the tactile and aesthetic qualities that can only be achieved through a careful combination of traditional and contemporary woodworking techniques.
"The frame is very open and honest and is a reflection of Tim's eye for detail and our passion for precision CNC manufacturing and a hand-crafted finish," said Morgan. It is available in models with or without arms
The Rakino dining chair is completed with a soft and sculpted upholestered seat, with a sharp seam running around the edge adding a further sense of finesse.
The dining chair is available with or without arms, and forms part of the wider Rakino collection of seating and coffee tables.
