Recipients of 2023 Newfoundland and Labrador Lieutenant Governor?s Awards in Architecture announced

Joan Marie Aylward, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, has presented the 2023 Lieutenant Governor?s Awards in Architecture.
The purpose of the Lieutenant Governor?s Awards of Excellence in Architecture is to recognize and celebrate architectural design in recently completed projects by Newfoundland and Labrador licensed architects.
LAT49 Architecture and Woodford Architecture are the recipients of the 2023 Lieutenant Governor?s Awards in Architecture, with projects that exemplify the social, cultural, and economic impact architecture has in the province.

Two Awards of Merit were also given out. The recipients of these awards were LAT49 Architecture for Theatre Newfoundland and Labrador?s Nurse Myra Bennett Centre for the Performing Arts in Cow Head, and Woodford Architecture for the O?Brien Farm Learning Centre in St. John?s.
