RIBA International Prize 2020: Grand Jury Revealed
The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has revealed the grand jury for the 2020 RIBA International Prize.
Led by multidisciplinary French architect and urban planner, Odile Decq, the jury includes Jeanne Gang, founder of Studio Gang headquartered in Chicago, Es Devlin, OBE, acclaimed artist and stage designer, Rossana Hu, founding partner of Shanghai-based international architecture firm Neri&Hu, and Gustavo Utrabo, winner of the 2018 RIBA International Prize and Emerging Architect Prize.
?The RIBA International Awards celebrate architects? talent and reward the best architecture in the world. We are delighted to have brought together an impressive collective to form the 2020 RIBA International Prize Grand Jury, chaired by the inimitable Odile Decq, and look forward to seeing which building they choose as the world?s best,? said Alan Jones, RIBA President. The prestigious prize for architecture (outside of the UK) celebrates buildings that embrace sustainable technologies while delivering a meaningful social impact.
The awards include:
RIBA International Awards for Excellence ? awarded to 20 buildings worldwide that stretch boundaries of architecture and standards of excellence.
RIBA International Emerging Architect Prize ? recognizes the talent of individuals who have been practicing for up to 10 years and are making a significant contribution to the field of architecture.
