RIBA Northern Ireland Awards 2017 Shortlist News
Six buildings have been shortlisted for RIBA Northern Ireland Awards 2017.
The buildings that have been shortlisted are:
? Ballymena Health & Care Centre by Hoskins Architects and Keppie Design
? Clogher House, Lisburn, by McGarry Moon Architects
? Fallahogey Studio, Kilrea, by McGarry Moon Architects
? Linen Loft, Belfast, by McDowell+Bostock Architects
? St Bernadette?s Church Refurbishment Phase 1, Belfast, by Kennedy FitzGerald Architects
? Tireighter Cairn, Park Co. Derry, by Broadstone Architects
All shortlisted buildings will now be further assessed on site by the regional jury with the winning buildings announced at an event in May. The 2017 jury for Northern Ireland is made up of distinguished architects Alastair Hall (Hall McKnight) and Kieran McGonigle (McGonigle McGrath) and the lay judge is world renowned artist Colin Davidson.
Regional Award winners will be considered for a highly-coveted RIBA National Award in recognition of their architectural excellence, the results of which will be announced in June.
