With six days left to enter Dezeen Awards 2024, we look back at last year's six shortlisted infrastructure and transport projects, which include a rolling bridge and submerged bicycle park.
This category rewards new-build infrastructure or refurbishment of existing facilities where the projects exhibit an innovative solution to delivering public utilities.
Infrastructure projects encompass a diverse range of building types from railway and underground stations and energy hubs to bridges, highways and boardwalks, all tools which enable economic growth, connectivity and improved living conditions.
