The theme for the conference is Saskatchewan Savoir-Faire: How Buildings Embody Knowledge. Canada?s architecture stores knowledge in a subtle way; it embodies our beliefs, values and worldviews. It contains insight into professional, cultural and academic understanding and the traditions of those who create and inhabit it. This year?s conference will explore how knowledge and know-how is transferred through the creation, study and use of the built environment. Please submit paper proposals no later than March 11, 2016. The Society for the Study of Architecture in Canada is a learned society whose membership includes architects, historians, planners, sociologists, ethnologists, and heritage professionals. Students in these disciplines are also encouraged to submit abstracts.
