Dezeen promotion: launching during this year's Milan design week, the Space & Interiors event will explore current trends in interior design from 12 to 16 April 2016.
Located in Milan's Brera Design District at the Mall Porta Nuova, the new event will focus on contemporary design trends for home interiors and exhibit solutions by a range of manufacturers.
Described by the organisers as presenting a "new map for living", Space & Interiors was conceived as a way to reinterpret the individual aspects of design for the home, including material finishes, lighting and technology.

An exhibition ? called New Components Code ? will display designs by a range of manufacturers from floors and wall coverings, to staircases, facade coatings and door handles. Designed by Migliore + Servetto Architects, the exposition space will feature individual booths with large cases that allow attendees to look at items in more detail.

Taller white stands, resembling the pages of an opened book, will be used to present products. Exhibitors will be able to use an exclusive lounge for business meetings.
