Marks Barfield Architects wins planning for 23,000 sq m mixed-use Stephenson House development
Mixed use development will deliver 17,000sq m of Grade A office space and create 17 new homes including 6 at London Affordable Rents, retail space and potential healthcare use in a building designed to set new standards for wellbeing.
Marks Barfield Architects has won planning consent for the 23,000 sq m redevelopment of Stephenson House in Euston on behalf of Lazari Properties 2 Ltd, a subsidiary of Lazari Investments Ltd. The existing building will be rejuvenated and designed to set a new bench mark for wellbeing, embracing the latest research for commercial development in Central London. The mixed use development will contain office space alongside 17 homes, cafes, restaurants and shops. A potential new health centre may also be provided. The upcycled building will deliver an increase of 5,000 sq m GEA on the site, split between the various uses.
