Submissions open for 2018 Canadian Green Building Awards
Registration is now open for the 2018 Canadian Green Building Awards, which recognize excellence in the design and execution of Canadian residential and non-residential buildings of all types, including new construction, existing buildings, renovations and interior design projects.
Nine award categories recognize completed projects of various scales and uses. Residential, commercial, and institutional buildings are eligible, as well as building upgrades, with a full list of categories available via the registration page, linked here.
A jury of distinguished professionals will adjudicate the awards based on criteria of sustainable design, architectural excellence and technical innovation.?? Awards are given at the discretion of the Jury. All Awards have equal ranking (no First, Second or Third rankings will be given). Deadline to receive submissions is March 9, and judging will take place March 16. Winning entries will be announced at the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC) National Conference in Toronto on June 4 2018, and will be published in the Summer issue of Sustainable Architecture & Building [SABMag], on the SABMag web site, and in the SABMag newsletter.
