Tangens office furniture by Sára Kele presented at Maison & Objet
Dezeen Showroom: presented at Maison & Objet, Hungarian designer Sára Kele has created Tangens, an office furniture collection that aims to combine the "comfort of a home office with the modularity required for the workspace".
Tangens is one of a selection of products available through French furniture and design fair Maison & Objet.
The Tangens collection aims to combine home comfort with the modularity of a contemporary workspace
The Tangens collection features hard, stretched seating surfaces that have a seat height raised by a few centimetres, intended to support the user's body and be comfortable for extended periods of sitting.
"With almost endless possibilities of combinations, Tangens provides the opportunity to perfectly tailor the furniture to any workplace," said the brand. The material palette was developed with the aim to aid the user's concentration
The collection comes in a range of colours and textures. The material palette was developed with the aim to aid the user's concentration and be visually harmonious.
Each piece in the collection is made from durable materials, including textiles made from recycled PET bottles and woven wool.
The furniture can also be disassembled into parts to help the ease of future repairs, making it long-lasting.
