This Software Engineer Built a Tiny House for His Mom and Then Set Up a Company to Sell the Plans

In 2009, fuelled by a desire to provide his mother with a comfortable and cost-effective living solution, software engineer Dan Louche undertook the construction of a tiny home for her. Little did he know that this personal project would eventually blossom into a full-fledged business. Drawing on his newfound skills in designing and constructing tiny homes, Dan founded Tiny Home Builders in 2010. The company quickly became a hub for individuals seeking affordable and customizable solutions to housing.

Tiny Home Builders offers a diverse range of DIY plans, catering to different preferences and needs. With material expenses as low as $10,000, individuals can embark on a journey to create their dream compact living space, fostering a sense of self-sufficiency and resourcefulness.
