This week Aston Martin revealed its first house design
This week on Dezeen, car brand Aston Martin revealed the first house designed as part of its Automotive Galleries and Lairs residential design service, which launched last year.
Designed as a collaboration between US studio S3 Architecture and the luxury carmaker, the angular black-cedar home is set to be built in Hudson Valley, New York.
It will be the first property built as part of the carmaker's service that aims to design bespoke spaces for its clients to show off their most cherished motors.

This week saw two high-profile designers pass away. Dutch celebrity designer Jan des Bouvrie, who was known for introducing minimalist interiors to the Netherlands, died at the age of 78 after a multi-year battle with prostate cancer. In Paris, Japanese fashion designer Kenzo Takada, the founder of the brand Kenzo, died of coronavirus at the age of 81.
Lost House by David Adjaye features black interiors and bedroom with a pool
