This week on Dezeen, we revealed Huawei's Mate X folding smartphone, which has a flexible screen that bends around the exterior of the device.
According to Huawei, the Mate X "defines a new category of mobile devices" by way of its thin screen that can be folded in half, allowing it to be used as either a tablet or smartphone. The announcement came less than a week after the Chinese tech giant's rival Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Fold device, which unfolds "like a book".
