Dezeen Showroom: Jennifer Newman Studio has introduced an all-metal outdoor version of its Trestle table with an oversized cantilever top that adds a contemporary feel to gardens and patios.
Just like the indoor version, the outdoor Trestle table comes in a variety of colours including a light blue and a pink sable hue.
It seats 12 people and can comfortably be used for larger parties or to host meetings.
The Trestle table can seat 12 people
Trestle is made from lightweight, extruded aluminium tubes that are held together without any screws or fixings that might corrode. Its anti-bacterial powder coating was designed to be hardwearing, meaning the table can stay outside all year round.
Weights can be added to the inside of the legs to keep the design stable even during windy days and its sturdy structure was specifically developed to prevent wind from creating any uplift. Tabletops come in a 2.4-metre length and a 1.6-metre length. Like all Jennifer Newman Studio products, the Trestle table was manufactured in the brand's Bedfordshire workshop.
