Forum, an assembly of global creative leaders created by design studio Caserne in collaboration with l?École de design de l?UQAM and several other partners, will be returning to Montréal at the end of the month.
The event aims to bring together designers and artists “on a mission to network, educate, and create.” Inspired by international summits, each event addresses a relevant topic.
This year’s edition of the event, which will be taking place from August 22 to 24, 2024, will focus on the hybrid nature of creation and design. The event is expected to bring together over 500 people.
The theme explores tangibility combined with digital possibilities, integrating traditional know-how with contemporary practices and will focus on the observation and creation of hybrid practices that bring together typography and photographic images, materiality and virtuality, and programming and fabrication. A total of eight international speakers from the U.K., U.S., Costa Rica, Colombia, Italy and Canada will offer case studies, reflections and debates on themes such as culture, fashion, architecture and more.
