Vertigo Fine collection by Impact Acoustic
Dezeen Showroom: created by brand co-founder and head of design Jeffrey Ibañez, Impact Acoustic's Vertigo Fine collection of sound-dampening products features a pinstripe pattern of slim vertical cuts.
An adaptation of the earlier Vertigo acoustic wall panel, Vertigo Fine has been designed with more slender v-cuts to create a softer look and a heightened sense of tranquility.
The Vertigo Fine wall panel can be cut to any size to completely cover the desired area
There are two products in the collection: a wall panel and a circular ceiling panel. The wall panel can be cut on-site to any measurement, ensuring that all walls can be suitably covered.
The ceiling panel hangs suspended over a room and is meant to provide a visual surprise as well as improving the acoustics of the space. The ceiling panel can be suspended over the room in clusters, providing visual interest
Both of the Vertigo Fine products are made of Impact Acoustic's Archisonic felt, which is made of recycled plastic bottles. Eighty-eight single-use PET bottles are in every square metre of the material, which is Cradle to Cradle certified.
The material is available in a choice of 28 colours ? a curated palette developed by London design consultancy Colour Hive.
