Victoria workspace table collection by Benchmark

Dezeen Showroom: British brand Benchmark has released its Victoria collection of desks, workbenches and meeting tables, which intend to showcase wood's natural beauty.
The Victoria collection celebrates the rich grain of solid timber. Its tabletops are made from wooden planks where butterfly joints are used to stabilise the knots and splits.
"Developed in-house by Benchmark's design team, with all pieces sharing a characteristic underframe and leg profile, the Victoria collection is intended to be customised to a client's particular space and interior scheme," said the brand.

The tabletops come with a gently chamfered edge as standard, but other options include square or rounded edges. The collection is available in a choice of sustainably sourced FSC- or PEFC-certified hardwood timbers, including oak, ash, elm, or walnut.

Brass or timber trays can be built into the tabletops to house power and data cables, and additional optional accessories include brass or timber reading lights and brass space dividers.
"From 30-seat boardroom tables to rows of workbenches, high huddle tables to individual desking, the haptic qualities of natural materials central to the Victoria collection improve attention and focus, boost creativity, and can actively reduce stress levels," said Benchmark.
