Environment:

The land where Villa on Lago is built is located on top of a mountain in front of the Rio Tercero Reservoir Lake.

It has a steep slope that, in turn, is traversed in the middle by the deep track formed by the runoff of rainwater that descends from the top in wet seasons, forming a valley and two peaks. As a result, the challenge posed by the terrain is to be able to ?tie? this geographical feature, connecting both points of the terrain, prioritizing views and orientation.

Use:
Functionally, the project is essentially a permanent-use home for a family of 5, so we aim to achieve greater accessibility and flexibility of social environments, guaranteeing full use over time.

The main idea was to manage to transfer the benefits of a ?flat? home within a medium that proposed, a priori, the opposite. We consider that the entire house should be able to be resolved in a noble plane, connecting the street with the different functions, flown over the valley of the land.

For this, two large exposed concrete boxes, which act as a deposit, cellar and services, finish constituting the summits, supporting a plane that flies in the form of a bridge over the central valley, supporting all the functions of daily use.
