Held in the London showroom of building material manufacturer Knauf, the panel discussed how digital tools and processes, such as building information modelling (BIM) and parametricism, are shaping the built environment.

BIM is used to create digital representations of the physical and functional characteristics of a space and is frequently used in architecture and construction.
Parametricism refers to a design approach that uses algorithms to dictate the form a building takes according to parameters like the flow of people through the space. The term was coined by the principal of Zaha Hadid Architects Patrik Schumacher. Also on the panel was Aurélie de Boissieu from Grimshaw

Sabiu has worked as an architect at Zaha Hadid Architects since the summer of 2017 and has previously worked for Perkins+Will.
