Wedgwood senior vice president Eva Ziegler and Wedgwood Museum curator Gaye Blake-Roberts join Tristram Hunt, Lee Broom and Marcus Fairs for a talk at the launch of the brand's new book.
Following the release of Wedgwood: A Story of Creation and Innovation, Dezeen editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs hosts the live panel discussion at London's V&A museum.
The livestream has now ended, but you can still watch the talk in full above or on Dezeen's Facebook page.
During the talk, Eva Ziegler and Gaye Blake-Roberts discuss Wedgwood's recent resurgence.
British designer Lee Broom joins them to talk about the collection of postmodern-style ceramics he created for the brand, reinterpreting its classic Jasperware vases, while V&A director Tristram Hunt discusses the wider impact of the brand and the Wedgwood Museum on British culture. Lee Broom designed postmodernism-inspired ceramics for Wedgwood earlier this year
Wedgwood was founded in 1759 in Stoke-on-Trent, England, by potter Josiah Wedgwood, and went on to become one of the world's leading pottery producers.
Brand president Ulrik Garde Due discussed his vision to make Wedgwood relevant for a younger audience in a recent movie produced by Dezeen.
Wedgwood: A Story of Creation and Innovation documents the history of the British brand, from its origin up until the present day. Published by Rizzoli, the coffee-table book features full-page photographs of Wedgwood's best-loved products.
