Winners of RAIC Metro Vancouver Chapter Awards announced



On Thursday, October 12th, 2017, five British Columbians and organizations will be recognized and celebrated as they receive the 2017 Architecture Advocacy Awards from the Metro Vancouver Chapter of RAIC.  
The recipients of the 7th bi-annual RAIC Metro Vancouver Chapter Awards are:

Mayor Linda Hepner & City Council City of Surrey
Urbanarium
Michael Audain Chairman, Polygon Homes
Ray Spaxman Former Director of Planning, City of Vancouver
Nancy & Niels Bendtsen Inform Interiors

These bi-annual awards celebrate outstanding citizens who, through their vision and extraordinary efforts in the built environment, have made a significant contribution to our society.   “As a result of their leadership and dedication, our lives are richer, our communities more sustainable and our cities more vibrant,” said the RAIC Metro Vancouver Chapter. “With these awards, we celebrate those whose work and dedication to improving the built environment, have made a difference and who might not be recognized through traditional architectural award programs. “
The award evening will include a keynote presentation by the distinguished Vancouver architect Darryl Condon, FRAIC, Architect AIBC.  For more information, click here.
