Made in Tokyo – Momoyo Kaijima, Wolf Prize in Architecture Winner News
Tokyo native, Momoyo Kaijima, Professor of Architectural Behaviorology at ETH Zurich and her partner Yoshiharu Tsukamoto have been honoured with this year’s Wolf Prize for their ethnographically inspired approach to architecture and sensitivity towards local contexts and the social impact of architecture.

Kaijima has had a number of visiting professorships to include Harvard University, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and Columbia University, in New York City before setting up shop at ETH Zurich – the top ranked university in continental Europe. She is only the third woman to receive the Wolf Prize in Architecture since the awards inception in 1978.
