Zedo desk by Paolo Pampanoni for Narbutas
Dezeen Showroom: Italian architect and designer Paolo Pampanoni has created the Zedo desk for workplace furniture brand Narbutas, which aims to bring warmth and personality to the workspace.
Designed to be used on its own or combined into a system of linked desks, Zedo features coloured metal parts and creative accessory options that impart a sense of personal style.
The Zedo desk can be used on its own or combined into multiples
The options include minimalist drawers, PET felt acoustic screens, power blocks and three different kinds of shelves ? including curved shelves that can be arranged one over another to free up the desk space for small items, and a round shelf that sits slightly higher than the desk and can double as a small additional table. Another option is a desk-mounted rotatable extension table, which similarly to the round shelf, sits slightly higher than the desk and can be used as a standing desk or meeting table for short discussions.
The optional accessories include felt screens and side shelves
"For employees returning to the office from the comfortable home space, the ability to create more personalised workplaces with which it is easier to identify is crucial to ease the transition from home to the office space and reduce stress," said Narbutas designer Greta ?ukausk?.
Narbutas also recommends the Zedo desk for home offices, and suggests pairing it with the Polytone-L chair, which has similar aesthetics, materials and colours.
