Description
In Mallorca, seeing the sea from your home is the greatest luxury you can aspire to. That is why the Negre studio’s project for this house in the southern part of the island has focused on enhancing the sea views from all its rooms and connecting the interior with the exterior. Almost from any corner of this property it is impossible not to be dazzled by the waters of the Mediterranean, responding to the desire of its owners. The distribution has been redesigned to obtain homogeneity and spatial fluidity, fulfilling another of the client’s requirements. The spaces are fully communicated, from the entrance hall to the kitchen, through a wooden paneling completely designed and manufactured to measure that contrasts with the Zarci Grey stone floor, creating a sense of warmth and, in turn, hidden all its functions such as the entrance to a room, electrical installations, appliances or pantry. Noble materials, such as oak wood, marble, copper and glass, have been great allies to give the interiors a natural elegance. For the authors of the project, the intense connection of the house with the deep blue sea is such that it produces the sensation of not being on dry land, but on board a cruise ship in the Mediterranean.
