Sgnl smart watch strap lets you receive calls through your fingertips
Korean startup company Innomdle Lab has designed a smart watch strap that allows you to receive phone calls by touching your finger to your ear.
Showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show this week, the Sgnl wristband can be worn on its own, or can replace a classic or smart watch strap to deliver fingertip communication.
When paired with the user's phone via Bluetooth, the wristband's unique, patented Body Conduction Unit (BCU) technology sends vibrations down the user's wrist, and converts them into amplified sound.
The user then only needs to touch their fingertip to the tragus of their ear to hear the caller on the other end of the line.
A microphone embedded in Sgnl's strap enables the user to talk back to their caller.
