Located in the historic Crossroads District of Kansas City, Missouri, the Charlie Hustle brand of t-shirts and clothing represents the civic pride of the Midwest and the blue collar-friendly attitude it exudes. Charlie Hustle turned to KEM STUDIO to design it headquarters to reflect the brand.

What was the brief"

Charlie Hustle is a group of young exuberant individuals who are makers, creators, thought leaders, and hustlers with a passion for bringing vintage clothing into the modern age. A business with humble beginnings, the growth of the company necessitated a revitalized presence in its existing space. Charlie Hustle?s building shell is roughly 8,000 square feet composed of rustic brick walls, large steel beams overhead, and an expansive concrete floor. The company wanted to design its headquarters to inspire the team and reflect its unique character.
