Location: Cherrywood Village, Dún Laoghaire?Rathdown, South Dublin, Ireland
Grant Associates is working with Fletcher Priest Architects to design the masterplan for a new community in Dún Laoghaire?Rathdown, South Dublin for developer Quintain Ireland Ltd.
When complete, Cherrywood Village will include over 1,300 homes, three public parks and over 50,000 sq ft of retail and civic amenities as well as primary and post-primary schools.
The masterplan builds on the principles set out by the Strategic Development Zone status for the area, and Fletcher Priest and Grant Associates are coordinating their work with the design team for this wider area, including Dublin-based Architectural practices Urban Agency and O?Mahony Pike Architects. Green and blue infrastructure constitutes a key element of Cherrywood Village Masterplan with the opportunity to create a very well-connected village adjacent to the Luas Tram Line into Central Dublin and close to the Wicklow Mountains and the sea.
