Empezar el huerto desde cero



He querido compartir con vosotros el proceso de adecentar un pequeño terreno de 50 m2, espacio suficiente, si se administra correctamente, para que una familia de 4 miembros pueda autoabastecerse con productos hortícolas.
Esta parcela llevaba más de año y medio sin labrar ni deshierbar y, por lo tanto, tenía malas hierbas que alcanzaban más de un metro de altura y si creéis que exagero mirad las siguientes fotografías.

Al ver la parcela me invadió una sensación de agobio pero decidí afrontarlo con paciencia 'sin prisas pero sin pausas' ya que poco a poco se puede llegar a lograr el objetivo de quitar cardos interminables, acelgas como pinos, amapolas y otras hierbas.

Decidí poner un plazo de finalización para dejarlo en condiciones en un máximo de 5 días y lo logré en 4 pero con una pequeña ayudita ;) me pasaron la mula mecánica con la que logré airear, ablandar y remover el suelo que estaba duro como la roca.   Luego de quitar las hierbas apliqué abono orgánico natural que viene en forma de pellets y lo regué abundantemente para, por un lado ayudar la absorción del abono, y por otro, preparar la tierra para facilitar la labor de la mula. Si no hubiese pasado la mula en su lugar hubiese tenido que remover la tierra con la azada.

Una vez pasada la mula decidí no complicarme demasiado porque el verano ya se me echaba encima y entonces con la azada marqué unos surcos para delimitar la zona de siembra y la de riego. En la parte ele...
