Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti launches five marble-effect surface tiles
Dezeen promotion: Italian brand Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti (FMG) has launched five marble-look tiles that are designed for covering interior surfaces and furnishings.
The tiles form part of FMG's MaxFine range of large-format porcelain stoneware that is designed for both commercial and domestic interiors.
Among the new designs are the Aosta Green Marble, Connemarble Irish and Verde Persia tiles, which each emulate a different type of natural green marble.
The final two styles, called Calacatta Grey and Statuario Delicato, offer a more classic, white-marble finish.
Connemarble Irish tiles are decorated with clouds of brown and white lines
The new MaxFine tiles are manufactured in Italy and available in five different sizes, with either a square or rectangular format. They can be used alone to cover an interior surface, or mixed and matched with different tiles from FMG's collections for a more decorative finish.
Calacatta Grey tiles are characterised by thick grey veins
The Connemarble Irish tile takes its cues from marbles found in Ireland and is characterised by a lighter green backdrop, adorned with clouds of brown and meandering white lines.
Verde Persia, the final green marble-effect tile, is layered with veins that range from ivory hues to sandy tones, giving rise to a warmer finish.
