Flex induction cooktop by Gaggenau
Dezeen Showroom: kitchen brand Gaggenau's flex induction cooktop is designed to seamlessly integrate into kitchens and has built-in ventilation.
The Gaggenau flex induction cooktop offers two rectangular flex induction cooking zones, giving the user the freedom to position cookware anywhere on its surface. The zones can even be combined to form "one seamless entity", according to the brand.
The flex induction cooktop includes integrated ventilation at its centre
Another key feature is the ventilation grid at the centre of the cooktop, which offers a choice of air extraction or recirculation and is designed to eliminate odours before they escape.
The ventilation system is automatically activated during cooking and its power levels regulated via sensors, which Gaggenau says helps to save energy and reduce noise. Knobs illuminated in orange add a distinctive touch
The metal grease filter within is easy to remove and can be washed in the dishwasher.
Measuring 90 centimetres across, the flex induction cooktop includes front-mounted black stainless steel control knobs that are illuminated with Gaggenau's signature orange ring when in use, creating a distinctive aesthetic.
