In Good Company textile collection by Limn & Loom for Pallas Textiles
Dezeen Showroom:Â American brand Pallas Textiles has collaborated with design studio Limn & Loom to create the In Good Company fabric collection woven from recycled plastic yarn.
The In Good Company collection is woven from Seaqual Yarn, which consists of 10 per cent recycled plastic recovered from marine environments on top of the 90 per cent recycled from post-consumer plastic from land sources.
The In Good Company collection is focused on sustainability
Pallas Textiles worked with Limn & Loom and manufacturing mill Valdese Weavers to create six textile designs using Seaqual yarns, each delivering rich textures, sophisticated hues and reliable performance.
The designs include Kai, a classic colour-variated fabric with heathered warp and weft yarns, and Hali, a bouclé textile with a knobbly weave that Pallas says looks particularly good upholstered on curved forms. The fabrics are made from Seaqual recycled plastic yarn
There's also two solid colour textiles ? Ahti, with a velvet-like surface, and Maren, with a linear texture ? and two organic-looking patterns, Isla and Llyr.
A portion of all proceeds from the collection go to the Seaqual Foundation, which supports the use and upcycling of waste recovered from oceans, beaches, estuaries and rivers.
