Iran’s Most Ancient Buildings
Take a look at this phenomenal collection of photographs shot by Iran-based creator, Fatemah Hosein Aghaei, whose project shows the world the intricate patterns and forms inside Iran?s most ancient and holy buildings.
Most of the buildings featured are mosques in the city of Isfahan, about 300 kilometers south of Tehran. The city is known for its unique architecture, palaces, and mostly, the tile-centered mosques. A large part of the collection focuses on the beautiful domes inside these mosques and the mesmerizing historical architecture of Iran?s most beautiful places.
