Scott Sutherland School celebrate the class of 2020 / 21 with a digital exhibition
The Scott Sutherland School will be transformed into a creative hub, showcasing exciting and inspiring projects from architecture and architectural technology students including students from the BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology course, BSc Architecture / Masters of Architecture (MArch) and the MSc Advanced Architectural Design. Work from Masters of Architeture student, 23 year old Maxwell Wilson from the village of Lhanbryde, outside of Elgin, Moray. Maxwell?s Master?s project is part of the University?s Pomona framework for Finstown in Orkney which aims to revive the town and provide a sustainable community for islanders. He creates a horticulture greenhouse that would be used to grow locally produced herbs and spices. These would be used in an adjoining gin distillery. A 3rd greenhouse would provide residential training thereby creating jobs in the community:
This is the first on-campus exhibition since the start of the pandemic and follows two years of digitalised events.
