X+LIVING is a Shanghai-based architecture and design firm that has recently created a number of extraordinary interior bookstores named “Zhongshuge bookstores”. These pieces are at the same time places of dazzling and meeting for lovers of illusions. Indeed, each bookstore has a part designed from reflective elements or simply mirrors, thus plunging visitors into an almost supernatural world. Architects and designers wanted to represent mirages to describe the local ecosystem: canals, lakes or rivers.
