Design Miami announces Los Angeles edition for May 2024
International design platform and fair Design Miami has announced the first edition of Design Miami/ Los Angeles, which will take place from 16 to 20 May at a private estate in the northwest of the city.
Like its Miami namesake, Design Miami/ Los Angeles will showcase collectible design galleries, as well as exhibitions by larger design brands over a four-day period in May 2024.

It will take place at a private estate designed by American architect Paul Williams in Holmby Hills, an upper-class neighbourhood close to Beverly Hills. It is a large estate with three buildings that have a combined area of 30,000 square feet.
LA edition to be led by Ashlee Harrison Design Miami, which was bought last year by digital marketplace Basic Space, announced that Ashlee Harrison will take the mantle as curatorial director for the Los Angeles edition of the fair.
Harrison has served as the director for the collectible design and art gallery Carpenters Workshop Gallery in New York.
"Design Miami's potential for expansion was clear from the moment we announced our partnership during the great success that was the Paris fair last October," said Basic Space founder Jesse Lee.
