Bernard Tschumi Architects has recently completed the construction of Tianjin Binhai Exploratorium, a 33,000-square-meter museum in Tianjin, China, whose initial project dates from 2013-2014. It will open at fall 2019 and will present objects from Tianjin City’s industrial past.The building has been designed to recall the rich industrial history of the region, known especially for its manufactures. Large cone-shaped rooms has been built in the museum, reinterpreting the vertical city concept while providing visitors with an unusual and original experience.
