IDS launches Young Leaders Program for emerging designers
New for 2019, the Interior Design Show (IDS) is launching its Young Leaders Program (YLP) to celebrate design professionals under 35 years of age with exceptional leadership potential. This program is limited to 30 individuals who submit an application themselves, but their applications must be supported with a letter from the principal, partner or owner of their current firm. Qualifying individuals who own their own firm are also encouraged to apply.
Those selected for the Young Leaders Program will attend a special networking event and workshop during IDS where they will be introduced to senior members from a cross-section of design disciplines. Winners will also receive free access to IDS Pro conference programming and two free tickets to the IDS opening night party.
IDS is proud to partner with the design community in recognizing emerging leadership in Canada?s vibrant design community through this new mentorship and recognition program. We are excited to launch this program as a means of helping to improve the paths to success for YLP participants while celebrating the future of Canada?s design professions.
