New Apple Piazza Liberty in Milan
Apple today announced the opening of its first Italian flagship in Milan, designed by the architectural studio Fosters + Partners with the presence of Stefan Behling (Head of Studio). Outside, a glass surface contains 56 jets of water that spring up to eight meters high, reminiscent of fountains that are the charm of Italian cities. This transparent quadrilateral open 24H / 24 seems to arise from Earth, as dug in the stone Beola Grigia covering the esplanade not far from the Duomo and Corso Vittorio Emanuele, two very commercial arteries of the city. Access to the interior of the Apple Piazza is via a staircase mixing stone and metal. The user experience is in the basement with an always minimalist interior, trademark of the brand. Here for the occasion are exclusive visuals and snapshots by Romain Colin present on site, below.
