A unique and impressive building now connects two wooded riverbanks. Located in Kistefos, a vast Norwegian sculpture park 80km from Oslo, «The Twist» was designed and conceived by the Danish firm Bjarke Ingels Group. The structure of its bridge-building allows visitors to walk on both sides of the river, but will also host a program of exhibitions in contemporary art. This hybrid creation made of aluminum has many roles and manages to nestle in the heart of the natural landscape with stunning simplicity.
