The latest edition of our Dezeen Weekly newsletter includes Sylvia Aehle describing her experiences as a black female working as a Part 2 architectural assistant in London.
According to Aehle, systemic racism is still prevalent in architecture. Writing for Dezeen, she says "It is easy for people to say that racism does not exist in the UK." She therefore aims "... to shed light on what it is like walking in the shoes of a black woman within architecture."
