Cover Girls: Women, Advertising, and Architecture exhibit comes to Winnipeg
Curated by the Winnipeg Architecture Foundation, the upcoming Cover Girls: Women, Advertising, and Architecture exhibit explores the ways women were depicted in advertisements that appeared in Canadian architectural magazines and journals published between 1950 and 1975. By examining the representation (and omission) of women in these advertisements, we can better understand how the architectural profession perceived women.
Opening on July 6 (19:00 ? 21:00), Cover Girls: Women, Advertising, and Architecture will run until July 31. Image via the Winnipeg Architecture Foundation.
