Save the date: Canadian Modern Architecture launches in Vancouver, Lethbridge, Waterloo, Toronto and Halifax
In October and November, events in Vancouver, Lethbridge, Waterloo, Toronto, Waterloo and Halifax are planned for the book Canadian Modern Architecture, 1967 to the present. Co-published by Canadian Architect and Princeton Architectural Press, the book launches with a plenary discussion at the RAIC Festival of Architecture on October 28, with subsequent events in cities across Canada.

October 28, 2019 – RAIC Festival of Architecture, Toronto
This plenary session at the 2019 RAIC Festival examines the state of Canadian architectural practice in three vital areas: sustainability, Indigenous architecture, and building in Canada’s north. Book co-editor Graham Livesey sets the stage by asking: What are key trends in Canadian architecture today" And how does the history of Canadian architecture inform its future" With chapter authors Steve Mannell, Odile Hénault, and Lola Sheppard; moderated by book co-editor Elsa Lam.
