AR Design Studio Receive Planning for ‘Kite House’
AR Design Studio are extremely pleased to announce that plans have been approved for ‘Kite House’, a bespoke contemporary 4-bed family home by the RIBA award-winning architects practice.

Set amongst a verdant backdrop and overlooking the River Avon, the site offered great potential with inspiration being taken from the natural topography of the site, the river and the long distance views. To the North-West across the floodplain, Salisbury Cathedral?s spire can be spotted and the South-West aspect affords a far reaching outlook across the water meadows and down the river. These constraints orchestrated a multifaceted three winged approach to the design, with the house carefully positioned to respond to its site constraints. As such, the proposal sits seamlessly within the surrounding landscape and appears visually lost against the topography and wooded backdrop.

The design team worked closely to ensure the design aspirations were reflected in a carefully procured planning application, which gained praise from both the planning officer and locals:-
